About ChemGenesThe Laboratory Assistant is responsible for performing duties to support manufacturing which includes product sampling, testing, measuring, recording, and analyzing in cooperation with the rest of the ChemGenes laboratory team. Responsible for performing a wide variety of complex research/laboratory tasks and experiments under limited supervision. May make detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results.
Maintains laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies. Writes experimental reports, summaries and protocols. Performs troubleshooting and calibration of instruments. Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.

The work will be performed at the ChemGenes’ laboratory which requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, reach, carry, lift, grasp, squat or stoop; bend and twist the body while performing essential duties; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
