Assistant Packager

Reports To: Packaging Manager

The Assistant Packager assists the Packaging Manager in the packaging of all shipments to customers.

Essential Job Functions

The major tasks and duties of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Glassware/vial washing with water and chemicals,
  • Weigh and measure products to transfer to vials for customers,
  • Counts items received and checks against packing lists, recording any discrepancies,
  • Prepares shipping reports.

Preparation, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel; ability to understand and use manufacturing software,
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with good mathematical skills.

Required Training:

  • USDOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Training.
  • HAZPOWER awareness, operations, and technician level training.

Minimum Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
